Pruned for a Purpose

“3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.” Psalm 24:3-6 NIV

David, Joseph and Jacob had hearts that had to be set right by God in order to be used by God.  Once our hearts have been set right, we may be called to come against giants, pits and family disputes like they were.  God will instruct us on what to do.  This requires a reach beyond the natural and requires that we call upon the supernatural.  It requires that we use our Faith as a shield and hold fast to God’s promise that He will restore us.  It is a time to seek God for His plans and strategies and to start expecting the supernatural to occur.  Do not be distracted.  Faith is a shield and Satan cannot steal what is covered by Faith.

Isaiah 48:17, Psalm 139, 1 Peter 1:3-9
