Let Me Handle That For You

I have held onto past mistakes at times. I have blamed others for things I should take responsibility for.  I have taken responsibility for things I shouldn’t.  Sometimes I have given into fear. All that being said, I do not want my past to dictate, influence, or control my future. I do not want to be distracted, delayed or derailed from God’s will in my life.

It doesn’t sound that hard, does it?  Well sometimes for me it is.  I can get caught up in the “shoulds.” I should do this.  They should do that.  I start behaving like I know what needs to happen without consulting Father God. It’s not a good place to be.  Take my word for it.

It requires change. Release. Surrender.  Continually.

Dearest Father, please help me to remember to bring all things to you.  All things. Show me how to operate more fully in You. Relying on You for all things.
